Hi. Thanks for visiting my site. My name is Mylissa Hodges. Photography is something that I absolutely love to do. It is something that I get really excited about. It allows me to be creative in a unique way while capturing and creating those brief & impressionable moments in time that need not be forgotten. I have always enjoyed creating things, more specifically painting things. Once my daughter was born, I found a new love. It was and still is the art of capturing those blink of the eye expressions that offer that unique look I love to see in photographs. I consider my photographs unique in their own way. Each session is geared toward individual personalities. As I go through my day, I always find myself looking at things the way I do through the eye of my camera. In addition to photography & for the past ~11 years I have worked in the medical field as an Occupational Therapist (OT). As an OT, I have had the opportunity to experience many different environments with individuals of all ages from birth to senior adulthood who have developed limitations in the ability to perform any level of normal functional activity. I have gained valuable training and experience in normal and abnormal development and I use this training and experience each and every time I pick up my camera. I feel it helps me to be creative and to tailor each session to each specific individual or group. My training as an OT provides me with a unique eye which promotes the photographic outcome and give you those perfect shots you are looking for.
